Let’s start by gushing on the new new; we FINALLY moved into our new house. The stressful part of moving is over and now I can focus on decorating fun little nooks like a coffee bar for our overnight guests! Right now our guest room is moonlighting as our master closet while it’s being redone. In less than a week, our master closet will be completed and our guest room will be open for business. Our first visitors: my mom and dad.
Making my guests feel as home in my house as they would in theirs is a huge priority for me. I like to cook amazing meals, have charcuterie plates as appetizers, local events planned, comfy sheets, and have everyone’s coffee preference in the morning.
How Do You Get Everyone’s Coffee Order?
By making a coffee bar with Keurig K-Duo Plus Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker as the center of attention!
It’s a dual brewer that brews both a single cup and a whole 12-cup thermal carafe (which keeps your coffee warm for up to 2 hours might I add). So whether I want to make a pot for the whole house or single K-Cups as I run out the door; I knew this was the perfect brewer for me.
Everyone has unique coffee preferences…
Trav likes instant coffee with a ton of creamer, I prefer hot tea with honey, my mom likes her coffee black, and my dad likes fancy brewed coffee. I’d say that’s a wide variety of orders but the K-Duo Plus coffee maker delivers the perfect cup and carafe with every brew.
Here’s how to make the perfect coffee bar
Now that we have the perfect brewer that looks great in my kitchen, let’s talk about the details that make the perfect coffee bar. I make sure I have all different kinds of coffee on hand; Green Mountain Bagged Coffee, Green Mountain K-Cup pods, and Donut Shop K-Cup pods. Each type of coffee has its own flavor profile so my guests can choose their favorite kind. Another perk of the K-Duo Plus coffee maker is that there’s a strong brew feature, which allows each cup or carafe to be stronger, and more intense.
Then I make sure all the add-ins are available.
The creamer my husband likes, a non-dairy creamer, pirouettes as a perfect coffee dunker, coffee mugs, and of course cute decor from Home Goods.
It’s really not hard to create your own coffee bar that’s unique to your home. Make sure you have options for your guests, a little decor, and definitely a K-Duo Plus coffee maker.
