I’m no beauty expert but I’m pretty damn good at putting my face together in 10 minutes flat while wrangling a toddler. If you have 0 time to yourself to get ready, this is for you. Here’s my everyday beauty routine!
My belief is that makeup is meant to enhance your natural beauty, so taking care of your skin first is key. I make sure to drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, and wash my face every night. This not only helps slow down aging but it also helps my makeup go on easier.
Every morning and night I wash my face with warm water and Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Scrub. I personally like it because it exfoliates my skin and keeps my pores from clogging with makeup.
Then I like to use a natural rose water + witch hazel toner from Thayer’s to reduce the size of my pores and refresh my skin to it’s natural state. The rose water in it makes my skin smell amazing!!
And finally I have combination skin so I use Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Moisturizer for Combination Skin both day + night.
Now onto the good stuff!
Once I’ve washed my face in the morning, I put a little Skin Laundry Under Eye Cream under my eyes. Once that’s dry, I’ll put Smashbox’s award-winning Photo Finish Primer all over my face and let that dry. Then, I’ll mix Jouer Matte Moisture Tint with the Neutrogena moisturizer and rub it all over my face. I like mixing the two because Jouer is REALLY thick so adding a regular moisturizer thins it out a little! Once that’s dry, I’ll do my eyebrows with Anastasia’s Brow Powder Duo, add some contouring bronzer from Hey Sailor Cosmetics, and a soft highlight from Bobbi Brown’s Highlighting Powder. I’ll usually add a tinted chapstick or some soft lip color to finish the look, but most days it’s just whatever I find in my car at the stoplight! haha!
And that’s it! A 10-minute beauty routine that’s usually done before I finish my coffee!!
